Working With Consolidated Solar Tech
At Consolidated Solar Technologies, LLC, we work hard to create a smooth process for both our residential and commercial solar customers. Our goal is to give you all the information you need to make an informed decision about installing a photovoltaic solar system for your home or business and then make the installation as simple as possible. Here is a quick overview of what you can expect if you choose to work with us:
Our process begins with a free consultation. CST staff come to your home or business property to analyze its solar resources and identify any shading issues, take photos and measurements of available space, and gather information about your utility bills and electrical consumption. We particularly pride ourselves on our ability to give you accurate and pertinent information on how a solar system will change your energy consumption and expenses. Using our proprietary financial analysis software, we use your actual energy usage data and model what you can expect from the solar system we recommend for your needs. Our solar financial analysis also takes into consideration how current state and federal tax incentives for solar power will impact your utility bills. All of this information can usually be returned to you in less than a day, is provided free of charge, and requires no commitment to purchase.
Using the information from our preliminary consultation, CST’s highly-trained design and engineering team creates a detailed design for your solar project. We use satellite imagery to predict sun exposure on your property for every season of the year and create 3-D renderings so you can see how the proposed equipment will look and function. Our final proposal will include professional electrical diagrams and specifications for all equipment needed to complete your project. CST will also process all of the appropriate permits for the integration of your solar system.
At CST, we want your project to move along as smoothly – and as quickly – as possible. That’s why we keep our warehouse well-stocked with the kind of equipment most companies only order once a job is scheduled. We also take the extra step of pre-staging every piece of your system in our warehouse before we come to your home or business property. This ensures that we have what we need to install your system with the utmost speed and efficiency and the least disruption to your home or business.
We are proud to be a commercial and residential dealer for SunPower, the No. 1 solar provider in North America for homes, businesses and power plants and maker of the industry’s most efficient solar panels. We also highly value our professional relationship with Conergy, one of the world’s largest distributors for renewable energy products, and we are an authorized dealer for SCHOTT Solar panels, made right here in New Mexico. These connections with the industry’s finest companies allow us to access the best products at the most competitive prices for our customers.
Our installation crews are comprised of journeymen electricians from our sister company Mosher Enterprises, an Albuquerque, New Mexico-based design-build electrical contractor. Most problems consumers experience with solar systems are due to shoddy installation, which is why it is vital to have only the most experienced contractors install your system. With 25-plus years of design-build electrical contracting experience, and solar projects ranging from 1KW residential systems to the largest solar systems in Albuquerque, Mosher Enterprises brings unparalleled expertise to every CST job. CST also has the distinction of holding its own New Mexico EE98 electrical engineering license.
